Larco is a typical niche manufacturer, since we produce nothing but coating
systems for the wooden industry, and first and foremost for windows and
doors of timber or other wood based substrates.
In the 50ties and 60ties the timber trade did account
for the majority of Larco’s customers, but today the wooden industry accounts
for almost 100%. From this process of specialization we have inherited
our passion for timber as a wonderful but challenging substrate.
We have accumulated a profound know-how on the variety of industrial environments,
in which our products are used, and last but not least on the demands
for high performance in service.
We have well proven solutions for most means of application (see next),
and our coating systems for exterior joinery are of the highest “objective”
quality – as they have been tested and meet the stringents demands of
the new European quality standard prEN 927-3 (1996) even when tested with
the optional, but extremely challenging “water-trap”.
Our “Larco for Life” maintenance scheme, further underlines our
commitment to the persistent welfare of exterior joinery.
